Wedding Day Hair Prep Guide

The following is a guide that ensures everyone in your party arrives in a way that everyone looks their best and keeps us running on schedule for the big day!

All individuals receiving services MUST BE PRESENT AT START TIME, as we set aside appropriate timing for you and your party. Upon completion of those present, there will be 30 minutes of holding time (touch-ups).  Should more time be needed, an additional fee will be charged.

All, PLEASE COME IN WITH CLEAN HAIR THAT IS BLOWN OUT, SMOOTH, AND DRY WITH the MINIMAL USE OF YOUR USUAL STYLING PRODUCTS AND WITHOUT THE USE OF A FLAT-IRON.

It is imperative that we deliver the services requested in a timely manner.

-If hair is damp and needs to be dried prior to styling, an additional $50 fee will be added to the service charge.

Prep by Hair Type

  • For fine hair

    (Short to medium in length)

    Please have clean hair that is blown out, smooth, and dry with minimal use of any of your usual products and without a flat iron.

    We have great styling products for volume that can all be used on dry hair! We may review your dry hair with the dryer to refresh the volume and activate our products. We also have products and items to allude hair is thicker or acts as a temporary filler within a style. If extensions are desired, hair must be purchased before the wedding.

  • For normal hair

    (Medium to long)

    Please have clean, blown-out, smooth, and dry hair that is minimally used in any of your usual products and no flat-iron use.

    We can layer in our favorite products for a beautiful, frizz-free, long-lasting style.

  • For thick, curly, frizzy hair:

    If a natural curl is desired for your style, please come with your natural hair, clean it, and dry it with minimal use of your usual products and no use of a flat iron. We know this may be some big crazy hair, but that is the best start for us. We will layer our favorite products and have your hair under control in no time.

    If beach waves or a formal updo are desired, we need your hair to be clean, blowout smooth, and dry, with minimal use of your usual styling products and without the use of a flat iron.

    If your desired style is smooth and sleek, and you come in with your natural curl, we must alter it for time.
